Day30/30 days to kindergarten

Day 30/30 days to kindergarten: grocery shopping and swimming 

Last day for our count down sweet girl. 30 days!

Today we just enjoyed each other! We went to the Kroger for all of the lunchbox requests. Kolbie ask Kade to go swim with her in the afternoon. So swim we did! 

This has been 30 special days. I am so thankful that we made time for fun moments together in these last days before you become a schoolgirl. It was a great reminder each day to enjoy the small moments and savor the last days before you start school. 

I do have mixed feelings today. I can't help to feel some tugs at the heartstrings as we face is transition. How is it possible that my baby girl is already going to be in school every day??? Real school. With a backpack...Lunchbox....Recess.....New friends....Homework.

After we got everything ready for school we read a few books, Kolbie have glow-in-the-dark glasses to help us see. We also had magic stars to sprinkle under her pillow to help Koko rest. 

Tomorrow you start kindergarten! I am so excited for you- you have always loved to learn and there are so many great  experiences ahead. I am proud of you and I feel very blessed to be your mama. Xoxoxo 

Day 29/30 days to kindergarten

Day 29/30 days to kindergarten: carriage ride. 

Today we slept in a little, took a shower got ready to go to Memphis. The girls and I went to Jun lees jewelry store. We got a few goodies.  Kolbie and I got matching heart necklaces. Bo and I started this tradition when she started kindergarten. We both had the same necklace and if I was missing her or if she was missing me all we did was just touch the heart and we knew the other person was loved us. When kolbie registered for kindergarten Bo's kindergarten teacher told Kolbie  the story of the heart necklace, and of course the we had to have the same for Koko. 

That night we went on a carriage ride in downtown Memphis. Kolbie knew exactly which care if she wanted. We waited for about an hour to ride it. All five of us enjoyed the ride. The guy that led the carriage ride was a little bit out there, we heard a lot of wild stories sometrue some I don't think so. He told us about a little girl that rode the carriage and got an angel tear, he gave each of us and Angel tear which is supposed to protect you from harm. Kolbie came straight home and put hers in her backpack. 

Day 28/ 30 days to kindergarten

Day 28/30 days to kindergarten: This was a Day for just Kolbie and I. Bo and her friends went to wild river country. So Koko and I started by going to mcdonalds for coffee and she had a parfait. We went inside for her to eat and play the table games( this is a treat for her we never go to McDonald's  and we never go in)! When we finished at McDonald's we then went to Avondale to play on the playground, kolbie wanted to know what the playground was like at her new school. Next on her list was swimming she ask her daddy go with us. We swim for a little while and then went home and got ready and went to Kade's first football game of the year.  Kolbie fell asleep on the way home from Helena, I guess this fun day wore her out!!!!

Days 27 /30 to kindergarten

Day 27/ 30 to kindergarten:

we read The Kissing Hand 😘 this has always been a tradition with Bo and Kade (even though they say really Mom now), we went to walmart for Kolbie to shop :) she wanted to spend some if her birthday money, while we were there we saw Sabrina and Sanders which really brightened Kolbie's day! We went home and painted the driveway with chalk paint. Labeled koko's school supplies and put them in her backpack. I am loving all this time we are spending together!!!! Slow down time, I am begging!!!!! 

Day24,25,26/30 days to kindergarten

I Day 24,25,26/30days to kindergarten

Day24/30: on Monday we relaxed at home and worked on Koko's fairy houses. 

Day 25/30:Tuesday we went fishing, Kolbie's request :)). We had so much fun just being together! Kolbie caught a few fish too! 

Day 26/30: Wednesday we played on the slip and slide. Finished our Fairy village!  Lynnlee came over to swing and go for a walk. Time please slow down!! This momma needs her babies at home with her longer!!!!!
